Majestic was appointed to create an Enterprise Print System for Advanced Precast (Aust) Pty Ltd
Advanced Precast (Aust) Pty Ltd (established in 1992) has grown to become one of Australia’s market leaders in the field of precast concrete. Today they service Melbourne Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Gold Coast and the surrounding areas and currently employ 160 people across three states comprising construction workers, engineers, detailers and administrative staff.
After implementing the Majestic’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) System for Advanced Precast (Aust) Pty Ltd in 2010, Advanced Precast wanted to take the ECM one step further. They wanted a solution where in they could send PDF drawings to any printer in their network infrastructure (across the nation) using the our Enterprise Content Management System.
Majestic came up with an innovative solution. We implemented a custom document library action for Advanced Precast’s ECM to enable them to do the following:
- Print documents anywhere in their nationwide network infrastructure.
- Include optional notifications to the person for whom the print job is intended.
- Include notifications that also contain the purpose of the print out.
- Incorporate a powerful search functionality.
